Should Adult Toys Have Names—or Just Clear Descriptions?

By Kervyra, an adult-product retailer. For adult readers.

Imagine two listings for the same adult toy. The photos, price, and specifications are identical. One title says “Neruvon.” The other says “Triple-Knot Fantasy Dildo.” Which would you open first?

A distinctive name gives you something to call the design. If you come back later, you can search for that name rather than try to remember which photograph you saved. You might also like a name simply because it sounds right for the shape.

A descriptive title gets straight to the point. If you are comparing several products, it tells you the category and a visible feature without asking you to learn a new word first. An unfamiliar name on its own leaves that work to the photograph.

Then there is the combination: “Neruvon — Triple-Knot Fantasy Dildo.” The name identifies the design; the description explains what it is. Would you want the name first, or would you put the practical description at the front?

Whichever title you prefer, the measurements belong to the exact size option. A memorable name cannot tell you the length, width, or circumference. The S-size diagram shown here is one example; the other Neruvon sizes have their own measurements.
