Think in pans and meals

Breville lists a one-cubic-foot cavity that accommodates a 13-inch pizza or a 9-by-13-inch pan. Baking, roasting, air frying, proofing and dehydrating share the same countertop appliance.

That is useful when a household wants more than quick snacks: a tray meal, an extra baking batch or a separate oven during a busy dinner. Choose accessories and rack positions for the selected mode, and follow the oven’s cooking instructions.

Capacity comes with a visible footprint

The appliance is roughly 21.4 inches wide and 17.3 inches deep before allowing the clearance required by its manual. Plan a dedicated spot rather than assuming it will fit where a compact air fryer stood.

A large cavity is also more oven to heat and clean. Buy the BOV900 when its tray space and range of cooking jobs would be used regularly. If the everyday task is two slices of toast or one small snack, the extra oven may be more equipment than you need.
